Jlo 440 no spark

Does anyone have a wiring diagram including the wiring harness for a attex chief. I would like to have the diagram for future reference. The engine has no spark but it ran before the engine was taken out 4 months ago. All the lights work and the starter turns over the engine fine. I thought I was careful when I cleaned engine and washed it. Where should I check first ? I dont have alot of experience with electrical problems.

First, I'd disconnect the plug at the engine and see if I had spark then. That will rule out the rest of the harness. If you have spark with the engine isolated, the problem's in the harness: if you don't, the problem's with the engine. It may be something as simple as cleaning up and resetting the points if the problem lies with the engine. Here's a link to the diagram in the manual from this site.
