maxII 850t random idle issues

Ok I have an 06 max with the 23hp kohler and 16hrs on it. when I bought it it idled rough so I took it to a mower shop they cleaned the carb changed fuel and filters and all wad good. Today I rode for 2 hours with no issues then I stopped and its ideling very very low I shut it off let it sit for 2 minutes started it up ideled fine, rode another 15 minutes and idle was super low again. I cant figure it out its so random, runs fine otherwise any ideas? Also does anyone have a pic of tje throttle linkage on the carb mine has a stopper bolt that looks like its not letting the throttle lever move completley open.

Sounds like you need to change your fuel lines and filter then clean the carb. Check for junk in the tank too. the issue is coming from before the carb.

The lines at the fuel pump are real squishy and cracked looking, its just weird it has random idle issues but runs perfect right off idle.

The lines are deteriorating. The randomness is flakes from inside the lines occasionally clogging the jets.

Well the fuel filter that had about 3 hours on it was full of brown flakes, I split a piece of the fuel line length wise and it was dry rotted on the inside and had a line of brown crust down it, the carb had some junk in it cleaned it all out, idled the engine for about 10 minutes the half throttle for about 5 got her nice and hot and it runs like new, now to see what happens on a long ride.
