  • mikuni carb mount...HELP!!!

    I have a 440cc Kohler 2-stroke and just bought a new mikuni carb for it to replace my failing tiltison. i was wondering how the heck people mount them without them being in the way of the transmission? I can probly go up and over it? any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    On an argo right? I know it has been done, and dont forget your new remote mount fuel pump. I have seen pictures of it, i know i have. You have to get the regular old snow mobile rubber gasket thinger....

    (it should say like VM38 or VM 36 or something like that on the side of that mukuni.

    And then it is all about the fancy foot work for an air cleaner!

    and then you can have a nice cloth filter over that eh? I would personaly put a piece of PVC in there to another HUGE piece of PVCE (or double up the old coffe cans) to make an air silencer and remote mount it. That will be alot quieter...
