  • Kawasaki Valve Clearance

I have the FD620, I've read the clearance should be set to .010. I've also read they should be adjusted when the piston is at top dead center, on the compression stroke. I've adjusted valves before, but I want to make sure I understand the process for this motor, can anyone add anything?

    valves

Yes valves are set at .010 cold and using timing marks on flyweel for each cylinder and arrow on rear cover. Ordo like you said.

I adjusted the valve clerance, it was needed and it was simple. For anyone who may be concerned about this aspect of the kawasaki, don't be, adjusting the valves took about 10 mins.
