I have a late 80's Kohler 18 hp engine in my 6 X 6 Argo and all of sudden the dipstick is popping up and oil is spewing all over the engine. The engine does not smoke so I dont thisk it is the rings. Before I go that route I want to do the easy and obvious things first. Is there a breather for the crank case on this engine? I cant find the oil filter can that be a problem? The dipstick seems to click in real good so I dont think it is that. I bought it from someone about 6 months ago and really don't know what they have done. one last thing is it runs really good. Any help would be great. Thanks
