I am going to redo the cooling system on my predator, it has a turbo diesel in it and the rad is mounted flat above the engine and the cooling fan is mounted above that. Its not factory the factory set up has the fan mounted first above the engine and the rad over the fan.
my question is what would be better :
1] the fan mounted under the rad which is over the engine and sucking the hot engine air up and through the rad and out.
2] the same scenario as number one but the fan sucking outside air through the rad and down on the engine.
3] the fan mounted on top of the rad which is above the engine and sucking the hot engine air up through the rad and out
4] the fan mounted on top of the rad and blowing outside air down through the rad onto the engine.
BUT keep in mind the engine is inside the tub and would a person want the hot air sucked out of the tub or have outside air pushed into the tub and mixed with the hot air.
