    I found a source.

Here's a link to pistons on eBay.

They're great! The guy selling them is very helpful. He also has the gasket sets.

Those pistons aren't cheap but they're good! I'm running with them in my racer.

Ideally getting the G50B up graded with a CDI and fresh pistons would make a nice original machine. Otherwise it depends if you want a historical piece or a trail rider. To make it into a trail rider you will need to upgrade the axles as well as the 4 stroke conversion. Both ways are very desirable.

Its not going to be a trailer Queen but will be kept well,4 stroke conversion not likely in the cards was more thinking along the lines of late model 500 cc leaf blower from a Polaris or Arctic Cat,twin carb, axle upgrade absolutely, wanna keep it as original looking as possible but evil under the hood.NCT

Yeah that is pricey, the slugs for my 98 Thundercat on nitrous are way cheaper than that, going to look at some options such as a Cat 540 cc.NCT

What engine were you running in your Thundercat? 1000cc? I always thought that a built Thundercat triple would be an ideal power plant for a vintage super-modified springer racer like "The Country Bumpkin". That would be a blast for the races in Ashtabula!

Nice. I have always wanted to go for a ride on a thunder cat. Got any vids to throw up in chit chat? Id like to see the animal in action! Is it a grass racer? Or lake racer? Back in april i picked up a 800 156 RMK with the VES for 800 bucks. Got one jug at 150 PSI and the PTO side at 120 PSI. I should probably tear into it before i go playing.
