  • where can I buy an electiric choke assembly for a JLO single cylinder

Looking to upgrade to electric choke.

Does anyone know if someone sells a kit for small engines? Looking for motor and butterfly that I can hopefully bolt onto the carb and then fit the filter to it.

Member Freq42 (shout out to Bob we missed you at the races) was looking to build an electric choke for his briggs in his max II. He was considering using a door lock solenoid I think. The same principal should work on any small engine I would think. You could hook the choke cable to the end and figure out how to adjust the movement. Probably could be done very cheaply
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Evinrude/Johnson outboard motors use an electric choke, you could rob the solenoid and linkage of an old motor.

My new mz6128 Husqvarna lawn mower has a electric choke on it. Its a Briggs 28hp intek motor. Maybe the parts would be easier to adapt.
