great tip for those with a kawasaki mikuni carb

hey folks,...just wanted to pass along a great tip....
I was having trouble with my MAX IV stalling out and had to choke it to get it home
here is what I did..........
1st I took it apart and cleaned it out,...but that didnt help

then because it was starving for gas,...so I replaced the electric fuel pump
and that didnt help

so I bout a new float assembly $40+s/h and that did the trick!....thank god because the only other part to change was the solenoid which is about $125 bux

anyhow good luck folks and dont be afraid to do a carb repair !

I have been struggling with the same issue and tried cleaning the carburetor. Will give float replacement a try. Where did you get your parts from?
