The Custom ice cleats (11 per track) in conjunction with the Gold Digger studs is a good combination for traction in winter conditions.

RD did you order the cleats and studs from adair? How are tracks without them?

Yes, I got the cleats and studs from Adair.
If you're using the tracks in snow, hard pack, ice, frozen ground, ect then you will need something.
When the tracks are brand new, they are very slippery in the snow, once they get scratched up from use, they get better, but still not good enough. The cleats and studs are a good idea.
