Get some Goodyear 31x15.50x15 Terra Tires and you'll be set. There are a few Coots with these and it makes them look like little monster trucks. Sand paddle type tires won't really do you much good.

That's a cool site. Sand paddles are highly directional and I've known a few people who tried them on quads, they dig like crazy in forward, but when you need reverse they are zero help. Another thought would be the black mamba lite or aqua torque, but they are pricey. BTW does this inquiry mean you got yourself a coot?

I think they use a 5 bolt bolt pattern that fit many cars and trucks. You could probably get some 15x12 pickup truck wheels. You could get those pretty much anywhere, ebay, Summit Racing, Jegs, or any online wheel place......there's lots of them. You could even get some nice shiny aluminum ones. Just make sure the bolt pattern and offset are correct. If that doesn't work check Craigslist or some dune buggy sites.

When you say offset are you talking about the center hole of the rim? Thanks Again

Offset refers to how far the face of the wheel sits inside the wheel. The face toward the outside of wheel indicates a positive offset. The face toward the inside of the wheel refers to a negative offset. Check this out:

                  Wheel Tech - Offset

For a very wide tire on a Coot, you'll need a negative offset wheel. Hope this helps.

dood, id strap a small outboard on it..lol I was curious on the Lug pattern as well for the coots..i mean, hell if they take vehicle tires, the possibilty is endless! ive seen some pictures of GNARLY looking coots out there. My question was Just how big are the axles? Wander how much they'd take before they snapped?

Have you looked at garden tractor rims?

Probably a common 5 bolt hub.
You need to measure the offset, rim diameter, and width at the bead.
