Just installed a set of chanel tracks on my conquest, they look good but we have nothing to try them out in with the lack of snow here.
what kinda tire pressure should a guy run in them

            Looks fantastic, absolutely awesome.

I keep seeing and hearing how well these perform in snow and mud and in my area with the rocks and roots I'm sure those would be fantastic, my only question about these channel tracks....swimming????

I hope to see some video of your machine some time soon doing it's thing!

            Thanks for sharing!

              • Thorn you are making me green with envy. The only snow we have around here is in my fridge. Great photos Thanks I am glad the tracks are working out for you.

Actually, we are having record heat and no snow to speak of recently. That pic was taken about 1 1/2 months ago when winter was around briefly. I would not be out on that lake now because the ice (if there is any) would be unsafe. The Eastern half of the US is getting all of our snow/cold this year.

same with Alaska. I haven't started the snowblower a single time this winter.

Landed in Calgary the other day, coming home from Belize. No snow! None! +15C. Layover in Dallas, was a compleat mess, almost a 1/2" of snow, The whole city was shut down. Defiantly not like last winters snow here in Alberta.

                      • Completly different here in North Western Québec. The month of February has been very cold. - 34 again this morning. For the next few days we will be under -20 during the day ( without considering the wind witch is around -30. And also lost of snow. My ice shack is still on the lake and I can't go and get it because the starter blew on my avenger and I don't feel like working on it outside in -30. And I'm the only one with an argo around and snowmobile can't pull it, we've tried with vk yamaha and coudn't move it. I'll have to wait for spring coming and get my starter fixed or have 2 or 3 snowmobile the bring it back to the shore.

                        • If anyone can send me the info to get a hold of the guy at channel track, much appreciated. Also since I am not in Canada how does shipping work, I live to far south to drive and get some. From what I have read here these tracks are awesome. I was thinking of adding a flap to the outer belt that will aid in water propulsion, as i read somewhere else that the flap extends once in water yet will not hinder woods or hard surface, any ideas about that?
