Carlisle makes the tires for Argo. You can only buy them through an Argo dealer since ODG has the rights.

I had checked into them awhile back and they are REALLY pricey compared to anything else in that size range.
I wonder if they will ever come down?

Not until the contract date expires that Carlisle made with ODG. I have friends in the tire business & they predict as much as 30-40% price drop when that happens, depending on demand. So, go to Carlisle web site & let them know you'd be interested, once they become available directly from them or thier dealers. See if they will put you on an alert list for future business, worth a shot, I already did so.
