  • Carlisle at 101 chevron pattern .are they as good as rawhides??

on the Carlisle at 101 tires Are they wide n flat on top like my rawhides.?will they hold up in all conditions?? I ride my max 2 on some hard terrain, Muddy, rocky,i like to go to extremes ,also plan on riding connelsville p.a. very rocky!! I know a tire shop that has 70 at101s in stock, from what i understand that tires discontinued by carslile.any other tire suggestions... .was told my max wont skid steer properly without a chevron tire, and yes i like floating my buggy any chance i get.thanks fellow 6 wheelers.

The Carlisle AT101 and Power Trac II tires (I think are the same exact tire, just different names) are good tires and they are what comes on any new Max model that you order with 21" tires. They haven't been discontinued, but the Carlisle 22x11x8 Chevrons have. The AT101 and Power Trac II tires have a softer sidewall and tread compound compared to the 21" Goodyear Rawhides. From what I've seen the Rawhides last quite a bit longer. Since the Rawhides have unfortunately been discontinued the Carlisles and Kenda K472 are the only options really.

And if you want the best deal on the Carlisles, check out this link:
