  • Rim width vs Tire width

Will a Argo 8x7 rim be fine to use with a 22x12.5x8 tire or should I look at a Max 8x8 rim instead? I prefer to stick with an Argo rim unless it is going to be problematic.

The Argo rim will work, but keep in mind that with a narrower rim, the tire will be slightly taller when mounted compared to being mounted on a 8x8 rim, so make sure you have the clearance on your machine. I'd personally go with a Recreatives 8" rim because it's the K-lock style and you can run tires at just 1PSI and not have to worry about them popping off the bead. Argo rims have been problematic in this area, especially the 9" ones from what I've heard. 8" K-lock rims and 12" K lock rims are available directly from Recreatives. The 9" K-lock rim is available directly from Mudd-Ox. Both Recreatives and Mudd-Ox rims are made for them by Kawasaki and they're the absolute best bang for your buck out there. I run them on all my machines.
