  • 6x6 wheels bead locks?

I was looking at rims for my Terra Tiger. All the ones I found do not have bead locks... will these work or will I have to run super high pressures? I'm also in the market for a set of new/used wheels...

Regualr 8" wheels would work although not that well. I would highly recomend the K lock bead lock 8" wheels that are sold from Recreatives Industries. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511 Their wheels are actually made by Kawasaki and I have never lost a bead since running them on my machines, even at super low pressure.

I called them and they're $53.80 ea. I'm not looking to spend that much but I'm positive they work as you said.

I'll look into that. Right now I'm not looking for something special just a set of rims that will hold air with 21-11-8 tires.

You can use a set of regular no bead lock wheels and use adhesive on the bead and use screws to screw the bead to the rim.

Yeah but then I'll ruin my wheel and tire.

Bought my spare rim at TSC=Tractor Supply Store. Just take a rim in to get the right lug pattern. $11.00 each for an Argo!!

A week ago I called my TSC... they said that they didn't even carry those rims and that they would cost $25 and up to special order.

Why would adhesive and screws ruin the wheels and tires?

Here is the info from the shelf sticker at my local TSC:
                          8x3.75 5 lug
                          4.8/5.7-8
                          stock numbers:
                          0303408 & 596451
                          $19.99 ea.

I either bought mine on sale, or it was miss marked!?! I got one last fall for $11.99.
Hope this helps those of you who need an affordable rim for a spare or a set.

So the rims you bought were 3.75" wide?

Richard Clark has some 8" wheels he advertises as beadlocks, but they are not. Don't know the price. Gene Lintz an argo distributor had a source for 8" wheels too, a little wider than the 7" wide argo wheel.
