The shape of the side lugs on this ATV tire , would make it swim I,m sure,, but , unless you ran these tires on a Hydro Traxx , that uses the High Lifter , Outlaw tires , on their amphibs , this tire would brake chains , and maybe even brake axles too , on a skid steer machine.

Thats pretty dang cool looking though!!! Wish they came in smaller sizes. I would get a set for my Arctic cat!
It's not a matter of life or death. It's much more important than that!

Hey the Yamaha Grizzy that I smoked in the Doles mud pits was wearing a set of these tires. The guy in front of him had 29 inch outlaws. They both had to be winched out of the mud that I walked right through!!!

YouTube - This is Dans MaxIV 6x6 at the mud pit in Doles Georgia

Haha, I always enjoy that video, Dan. It really justifies the 6x6World.com logo with the "no four wheelers icon" in it. Keep showing us those pictures and videos of how 6 wheelers make conquering the impassable terrain possible.

That big Max IV goes through with a lot less effort than the quads!
Looks like 4 Vampires & 2 Swamp Foxs on that machine.
I'd like to see a set of Escargo tracks in that hole.
            98 Max II Adair Tracks
            96 Max II 22" Mudbugs
            76 Attex (450 Tomahawk?)

Escargo tracks would not be practical in the swamps at Doles ATV park , and the 4-wheeler riders would not concede to an amphib beating them , if it had tracks and not wheels either . Also , the Escargo tracks would be too wide to use in the mud lanes , that Dan and Lee drove through .

Hey you are correct! Four Vampires and two Swamp Fop Plus tires. You win a cookie. As for the tracks, I won't be the one trying them. To me the tires do almost anything the tracks will and a few things they won't. Tracks are hard on the vehicle and require a lot of maintenance. In heavy duty mud like this the tracks would be extremely hard to turn (make that spin) and would put a lot of stress on the machines bearings and axles, and I really don't even want to think about turning with tracks on. With tires you can very the air pressure according to the conditions you are in (clay type mud-more air). Love the tracks hate the maintenance. To me running mostly in swamp and muddy conditions the tires are a better deal. If I did show up with a set of Escargo tracks the four wheelers would use that as an excuse when you beat then in the mud.
