Just wondering if any one got some good vids of the chanel tracks swimming. I have seen other vids in snow and mud/bog but have not seen much of them in water. Curious on how they swim...
thanks
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

They don't swim fast but they do. I had agressive tires on my avenger. They were not swimming good but I could go across a beaver dam. I just went the same place with my chanel tracks. They swim as good as with my tires and even better. Plus that if it is steep to go out they grab very good and with no effort you come out.
They certainely swim better than the plastic one I had before ( those don't swim).
My body has rubber track on his new avenger and he doesn't want to put them on in summer because they don't swim and they don't turn good. They are hard on the machine.
The chanel track you can use them all year round. It's even easier to turn than with the tires. Not harg on brakes, bearing and chains.
So yes they swim, not fast but they do. I don't have any video. If I ever get one I'll put it on you tube.

Does anyone know if these tracks would fit my 2004 Max IV with 26" tires without any modifications? Also are there any videos of these tracks in some really tough mud?

Thanks in advance!
No tracks fit a max Iv with 26" tires. You need 21" tires with an offset rim or wheel spacers to run tracks on that machine.
I am running a set of the Carlisle 22" Argo tires on my MaxIV with a set of Adair 17" tracks. I run a custom 1 and 1/2 inch wheel spacer, I took the rivets out of the low area on my tub and started to heat the tub for clearance but found that I wasn't having any clearance issues and basically left if like it was. I am not sure if these tracks would work without spacers but I am sure a call to Adair Argo would answer your questions. The machine is a beast and a blast to drive. The 22" inch tires lower the over all gear ratio and give the machine even more grunt at the low end for climbing trees etc. Getting over a fallen tree with my stock Max was always an issue, with a set of Adair tracks it's a piece of cake.
