  • Tracks for Max IV

Ok vey new to this.. New York wilderness search and rescue,,,,purchased a Max IV 25hp 26 terra grips with roll cage and seat belts. Having a cool enclosure made by the Amish. What's the best, most reliable track set up. Rubber or plastic ! I'm leaning towards plastic for weight and float, plan on installing cleats and carbide spikes for extra traction. Must be dependable set up!actually Supertracks are on my mind. How wide will this be with tracks as I may need wider trailer bed. Also do I need bearing cages and rail bar for the plastic tracks
    Any input is great. thanks

Recreative Industries has rubber tracks and Adair Argo has different open design tracks for the Max vehicles. Choice depends on application. Many run the Adair tracks on all different surfaces. Rubber tracks run mainly on snow and ice. There are lots of videos on the forum showing the different track configurations in action. Bearing extensions and supports are a good idea but not a requirement.

Adair tracks for the MaxIV are the bomb, they do swim-not fast but they do swim, here are some photos of my MaxIV and a video of a MaxIV with Adair tracks swimming

Dan: you've been holding out on us. I didn't realize the Max4 was back in action and looking stunning with those Adair tracks. Give us some videos.
