Anyone know the brand and style and size of tires close to the factory balloon tires on a 400 chief? Also size of rim I will need and how wide. Thanks!

An 8x8 or 8x7 rim works and the 21" Carlisle chevron tire summit racing sells works pretty good. You need 3 to 5 lug adaptors. There is a pattern for those on the site.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments! -

As Drew wrote the 8x8 or8x7 rim and the Carlisle AT101 are as close to what you could have ordered from the factory for the later modeled Attex. They offered the Chevron pattern which nobody makes anymore or the Goodyear Rawhide which is about what a Carlisle AT101 is today on 5 lug rims with a 3 to 5 bolt hub adapter.

The original attex brand tire was uniroyal 58" circumference. There was also bf Goodrich with 63 and 65" and the fat cats.Comment
