Anybody ever try it? I know they are backwards for swimming in the water but as far as mud goes would they work better if the tractor tread was facing forward? They are stock tires on a max 2

Personally I turn my front tires on both sides forward and the middle and rear backwards that way I have grab in the front along with being able to swim with the rear 4. I have also notice that with the front 2 forward I turn a little bit smoother.Hold My B..R and Watch This!!!

The theory on tread pattern is: With the "V" reversed, it funnels the water to the center of the tire collecting it there and giving something to push against.
With the "V" forward, in certain consistencies of mud, it pushes the mud out of the tread allowing the tread to clean. A mud clogged tire has little to no traction. The actual biting or grip of the tire is accomplished by the sharp edges of the tread.....You might see a some traction difference, but it would be small.
If you want more traction, try sharpening that leading edge.
