Do the Max "K" lock rims fit on a ARGO? Also, I noticed on the Max home page they show their machines with what appears to be the Carlisle chevron tire. Are those standard?

Yes the K rims fit on an Argo, the Bolt pattern is the same.

Do the K-lock rims have the hole to access the zerk on an Argo?
How much of a difference is there between the K-lock and a new Argo rim?
Are the K-lock rims the same as Matt's rims now or should I consider Matt's a third option?

I haven't been in water yet, but I did a few hours in the sand. I got a "real" gauge from eBay, and discovered my cheap stick type 1-20 PSI gauge was worthless. What I thought was 2 PSI was really 6, so setting them all at an honest 2.5 with the new 270 degree sweep-dial 0-15 PSI gauge, and the tires are soft. If I step on one now, I can take it almost all the way to the wheel rim.

The low pressure makes all the difference in ride as well as sand floating. At 6 PSI, it jack-hammered in sand; dug down and bounced. I could go up a dune... maybe, but it was like riding a pogo-stick. At 2.5 PSI, it's a nice ride, and I can stop partway up a dune, then continue on. And, so far so good, no valve stem angling. I've also cut hard brodies, and the beads are holding okay. Not sure how much lower I could go before tube crawl or bead breaks, but it works good enough at 2.5 PSI I'll just leave them at that.

John, my max rims did not have a countersunk type hole and required the argo nuts to be installed backwards (flat side in) and there was no hole for the new argo bearing zerk

Well lets see: The Recsuff rims are $12.95 (wheel nuts and lube hole?), the Argo Rims are $42+, and we still don't know the "K" lock price to compare. But, do know the ARGO nuts have to be reversed to fit the "K" Lock wheel, and they have no lube hole. I guess we are getting somewhere.
