  • Adair Pro Series Tracks with Winter Kit...AMAZING!

Recently purchased a set of the Pro Series Tracks from the guys at AdairArgo for my 04 Bigfoot. All I can say is I'm one happy customer! .

I have a quarter section with forest, wetland, streams, and a lake. For my application I needed a set of tracks primarily for winter use (I'm in Manitoba, Canada) although I wanted the option of using them potentially year round. Tim at Adair was really helpful in making the decision as to which track system would be best for me....

Installation was pretty easy as we managed to get the new tires and tracks installed basically in the dark with the help from our shop light. I used the 1/4" spacer that AdairArgo supplies...there's adequate clearance and absolutely no rubbing or contact on the tub.

Performance wise these tracks are incredible....great traction on our frozen pond before the snow came...superb climbing ability up steep inclines covered in 2-4" of snow. We can't wait for more snow to come so we can see how it handles the really deep stuff! These tracks will allow us to access areas we couldn't go on our property in the winter and more importantly provide some great family time outdoors with the kids!

Here's a few shots of the Argo in action!

      very sweet setup indeed.

Can you tell me the distance from the inside sidewall of the tyres to the tub please and how much clearance your tracks have to tub? I've got quite a bit of tub clearance and when I change to smaller diameter and narrower tyres for some tracks I'd like to know ahead of time if I need spacers.

Damn those look good can't wait to see how it floats in deep fluffy snow.

          Nice looking set up!
I also bought a set of these tracks (09 avenger) - they are awesome but with the ice cleats they are too aggressive in the summer for my riding conditions. I will run the tracks minus the ice cleats or change the cleats out to smaller ones for non-frozen conditions.
So far the machine is unstoppable!!!

Sure...will take the measurements when I'm back at my property next weekend and let you know.

Yeah that was my thinking as well...running just the tracks without cleats in the summer. I had my tracks on just before the snow and cold temps came and I was impressed how little the cleats tore up the grass around my cabin.

FYI the ProSeries tracks come with 1/4" spaces, just in case.

That is a very impressive set up on your Bigfoot. I have been in the mud and swamp with a Bigfoot set up with the standard 14.5 inch tracks and was amazed at the machines ability to perform in extremely muddy conditions. The lower range transmission helped that machine go through mud and swamp that would stop another wheeled Bigfoot or any other 4x4 or 6x6 machine with wheels. Quads learned very quickly to stay out of the muddy areas that the Bigfoot made with out ever straining the machine.

                          Sigh,
Brand new, never used set of Winter Kit Pro's at home, couple feet of snow on the ground, and here I sit..... A few thousand miles away.
Actually looking forward to getting home and trying them out. Just hope there is some snow left when I get back.
