    Hi folks
Well today I purchased my first 6 wheeler and as you can expect I have more than a few questions.
Here's my first and it concerns tires. I have one tire that keeps going flat I understand that you cannot put an inner tube in them, so can it be repaired or resealed.
I know this is a newbie question but we were all new at this at one time or another.
2nd question is the person I bought it from says it is a Max II 2001 how can I verify what year it is, there is a plate in the front with serial number...29459 if that helps.
Anyway that should do for now plenty more questions to come.
    Thanks in advance.

If your machine is actually a MaxII, a 2001 should have a serial # of approx 17,000 to 18,000. The proper serial # plate will be attached to the plastic body. There is another serial # plate attached to the transmission, and that applies to the trans only. See this list: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...tml#post158428

Tires can be patched, sometimes with good results, sometimes not so good. There are videos on youtube that show proper cleaning, scuffing, and patching.
Tubes can be used as a last resort. I ran a tube for 1 1/2 yrs, but finally got around to ordering a new tire because I was afraid the rim would rust on the inside......then I'd be buying a new tire and new wheel. If you have to run the tube, it would be a good idea to "glue" the tire to the rim to prevent spinning. You could use silicone, permatex #80062, or pretty much anything that will glue and seal. It would also be a good idea to put some around the valve stem to help seal out water.
