Track Pins

I have a set of plastic super tracks that I am replacing all the pins in. Would it be ok to use 1/4 rod threaded one side with nyloc nut and washer on one side and bend the other side on the whole track? Thanks

Thats what I did for years. Works great. It makes it very easy to take the track off.

Maybe use brass brazing rod to avoid rusting? Stainless...expensive
