How do the regular Super Swampers TSL compare to the Vampires? Just by looking it seems the TSL's would turn better bdecause of the lateral lugs.

Have seen the TSL's in 22" on argos and max II, great mud tire, does not swim.

      Hey Roger,

They do not swim at all?? Really curious because there were a couple of posts on Route 6x6 by an Argo owner that said they swim, just slowly. I was prolly about to pull the trigger on some.....any confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

A friend had them on argo 8's and his max II. While they were on his 8 I asked him how they swam, he said "not at all". He did take the II through haspin mud holes, as I remember it made it, but most of the forward motion was when they would touch something. I'll look at some footage and get back to you. You have a hustler? what size you planned to get.

Yes, I have a Hustler 950, and I was planning on getting the 22x12.5x9.....

I know that Russh has some on his Hustler, but he has not had a chance to swim his yet......

If they do not swim at all, I may see if tractor supply has 10" rims that will work, as Interco makes a Vampire in 22x12.5x10 that should also work.

Thanks so much, you could have just saved me 300 bucks....

Jon Hoath is the guy who had them. He preferred them over the rawhide III on his max II for Haspin. It's a good atv tire, lightweight, wide, good ride. Needs a beadlock wheel for low psi. They dismounted on the argo 8" wheels occasionally. Were ok on the max k rims. In a 22" an 8" dia on a k rim would be preferable, float higher, more sidewall "suspension", stay mounted, etc.

I think they will swim "a little", may vary with vehicle and size. Maybe swim through a mudhole; across open water, forget it. That's my guess, and I wouldn't make a decision on my long winded guess.

              Hi,
I sold Jon Hoath my 22" super swampers. I tried them on my Max 2 and my Argo Conquest. They were a great mud tire but do not swim. I tried them both ways. I also have a set of 25" Superswamper Vampire TSL and they do swim. They are great in mud also. The draw backs are they are heavy and a rougher ride than the Rawhide 3 tire. Hope this helps.
