I have a 94 max 4, it has brand new duro Woolley booger style tires. This thing is awesome in the mud and rides really soft BUT it doesn't swim. I want to see what all of you members think are the best tires that swim real good and still good in mud. Thanks in advance.. Norm... Has anyone swam the vendettas on a max 4?

Turn those tires around so that the v's are backward and those tires will swim just over 1 mph. You can test it by putting the machine in the water, going into reverse and hitting the throttle slowly. You have to ease on the throttle and then just let the tires walk. I have been told by other members that you can grind off every other nob on the side and gain some water speed.
For now put that thing in a pond and run it in reverse and see what happens. Remember-slow on the throttle.Comment

I changed the tires around and your right about 1mph, we'll at least it moves.... I'm hoping my argo magnum is going to turn into a new set of mud bugs then problem solved...Comment
