  • Can tracks pop the bead on tires?

    image.jpg

I just picked up a 1999 argo conquest, these argo plastic tracks came with.
The seller said that the tracks would pop the bead on the tires, can this happen?
The track looks in rough shape, they have ice cleats bolted on the edges which when on hard ground could tilt the wheel keepers inward which would push on the runamuck 22x10 tire walls.

    Thanks!

Congrats on the conquest. Those tracks are the older style Argo plastic tracks that far out date your machine. To put it lightly they are "done/toast/finito" and you would have problems with them probably beyond popping a bead. The hinges are probably worn out and they can have a "come apart" while riding which could damage your machine.
