Argo tyre size on hdi

I have just fitted my rubber tracks with a set of new Argo heat tyres, however they seem to be taller than the 189's which I removed

7 are 78.5" and 1 is 78" circumference on the heat tyres
What measurement is everyone else getting, the tracks are too close to the tub for my liking.

I took the 189's off the rims, and I can't remember the previous sizing.

I'm sure the rawhide iii on my efi are around 74.5"

My machine is a 2012 hdi

my at189's 25x12x9 on mudd-ox 9" diameter rims

5 psi
smallest 76 3/4"
largest 78 3/4"

the others are all very similar at (77 3/8" to 77 3/4")

my 25 x 11.5 x 9 rawhide III's weren't really any smaller if I remember correctly. The 25 x "12" x 9 are over an inch shorter than the "11.5" x 9's often times more.

What year is your HDI? It might just be your tub. Some of the early ones are skimpy on the clearance. The newest HDI's seem to be better.

You could try 3, 4, 4, 3.5 psi (front to rear). That's the lowest I would go. If you have track tuners, you might be able to juggle them around a little bit...depending.

It's a 2012 model and I'm running turners too.

I'm going to pull the rawhide iii off my efi and check them.
