    hey guys , just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on building home made tracks , what the best way to go about , anyone with a video of building would defentily help , thanks in advance

    yosam,i made my own tracks for my max 2 cause the others were expensive for me, plus i like to fabricate stuff. the main thing is what type terrain will they be used in, snow/mud both. what are your fabricating abilities and what tools do you have welder, drill press etc. i started by looking on u tube under custom tracks for machines and saw all kind of different designs. anyway i made a set of half tracks first by bending the tire guides out of 3/16 x 1 1/2 inch flat bar.they are connected by chain on both sides,with 1/4 conveyor belt as the track. they worked good for me, so i extended them to full tracks. cost me about $180 dollars each in materials. look under this site ,tracks.tires.etc. i think there is still a picture of them. good luck johnboy va.
