In my opinion I dont think foaming the tires would be a good idea. The tires are your floatation device. Take away air, means take away bouyancy. But thats just my 2 cents on it. If you never ever go in water and not concerned about it then maybe you would consider it.

There were some people that have done this and it didn't work well at all because the tires rode extremely hard and when you take away the only form of suspension on these machines, it doesn't make for a very fun ride.

Bad idea. Foaming those tires will leave you foaming at the mouth.

Forget it, I have messed with earthmover tires that have been foamed and they are brutally rough.

Foaming is bad, but using tire slime in flotation tires has worked out well for me. I pump about 1/4 gal air it up and ride for a while. Usually fixes small holes.... Norm...

              HI,
Own a small fleet of commercial mowers and I have tried complete foam fill never again ,the ride is to harsh . On the out front decks the decks bounce. Tried solid rubber tires same to hard of a ride .

I do not plan on floating to far mainly fording creeks and small ponds but after reading some of the other posts I feel foaming the tires is not going to happen. I am just new to the 6x6 world and that idea was coming forward in my bag of tricks.
