bead lock wheels

The other post went off topic and I want to make sure that those of you who want rings get the information because I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of rings and be out a bunch of money.

The price for a set of rings to do all 6 wheels with tax is 141.85. Six would have smooth edges for the outside and six would have scalloped edges for the inside unless you tell me otherwise. This will cost me a little bit so if you could pay in advance I would really appreciate it.

Please contact me and let me know what you are interested in so I can get a good, clear count so no one is disappointed for being left out of the order. Thanks.

Wow...this is a quote locally to me for a set of 6 bead locks = 12 pieces and 6 rim stiffeners plain...

You'd be looking at $550 to get all that cut out. That includes giving some $$$ to Godzuka for making up the file needed for cutting [cheers]

Anybody else want bead lock rings before I put the order in? If you are on the fence remember that if I have them made later on the quantity is low than the price will be higher. Yes, just for cutting.

By nesting the 8" rings inside a 12" ring the material for the 8" ring is free. Just a more efficient use of material. I always make both together even if I am only after one size ring.

You're comments refer to cutting them out on a plasma table then.

I thought you were inferring that the 8" ring should be welded to the 12" ring...

My rims are 12" so I'm out.

The rings are for the 21x11x8 rim.

These are only the rings, no hardware.

The rings are the same size.

All you do is just prep and weld.

What size rim(s) are you ordering for?

Do the kits come with the bolting hardware?

Is the inner ring smaller in diameter than the outer ring?

Does the inner ring install require the rim lip to be modified or just prepped and welded to it?

The difference in price is penny's. The first time I ordered them they were all scalloped and then someone wanted just round and that started everything. Now some want half and half. I just figured that is the way I would order them. It is really just preference. They are 0.188 inch thick.

What about scalloped / scalloped? Can that be done...looks cool....Otherwise may as well just go round / round there is absolutely no purpose to scallop except looks and covering that with the circular ring is moot. If it's cheaper to go round / round then so be it...

Just asking before commiting...Oh and BTW that's a fine price. What thickness of material are you being quoted on too BTW?
