I saw a tire I've never seen before on a Max II on the marengo swamp ride.
I never got to catch up to the owner , or snap a pic. They were wide, & basically a modified chevron tread , but the bars had a zig zag look to them.
Any ideas what they could have been?

Sounds to me like the atv tire called MUD SHARKS.

No, not quite like a mud shark. The zig zag was not nearly as pronounced as the shark. This really looked more like a chevron.

Sounds like the tire made by Argo that didn't swim.

No, it wasn't a runamuck . Or mud sharks like on the green Max II above.
I'm not familiar with the "argo tire that didn't swim" i'll have to research that.
The Marengo ride is the in early june. wishicould.org is the website.
No video from that ride. I was on my MudPro anyway, so nothing really interesting.
I'd like to go back next year.

Are you talking about the argo "heat " tire? if so , that's not it.

They looked a lot more like a maxxis 4 sno with bigger bars that had a mild zig zag to them.

Dixie Choppers came with a tire very similar to the 4 snow, they also came with chevrons before that.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                  Joe Camel never does that.
