  • Any treads for tracks..

I just got a Max II. First time owner it came with plastic tracks. Looking at tracks they are just flat they have no paddles or anything. Do they make a tread for them because they sure go no where In the water.. Lol

Plastic tracks are not designed for swimming. There are some mods that people have made to assist in the water.
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Well what good are they for.. Wouldn't I be better off with just getting nice tires that go in mud and water ?

If you want to go in the water I use an electric trolling motor or a canoe paddle. Good tires swim better than any tracks that I've used.

Just seemed like everyone wants tracks.. We mostly have just mud and water here. Maybe I can sell them and get some nice tires thanks

There are a few tracks that swim just like there are a few tires that swim. You have snow tracks. They work great in the snow, but like you found out, they don't work in the water. The key to setting up your machine is to take into account what type of riding you will be doing. I like mud and water so I run tires that mud pretty good and swim great. There are tracks that swim ok and mud great. You just have to do your research, but without tracks, deep snow is not going to happen unless you got a plow on the front.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

if you have the tub clearance you can try bolting some angle metal across each or every other track section for better traction. johnboy

Dukester. Where do you live? If you live in Florida, snow tracks will be about as useful as long underwear. If you are planning to be in Ontario anytime soon, bring the tracks. Some guys use a heat gun to install 25 inch tires on a max ii to go real fast in the water. See a video by Brandon. good luck

I live in Florida.. Maybe I can sell the tracks and get some new tires and wheels. Do I need those 6 inch spacer things
That are on there for tracks or best just to take them off with new tires?

You should not need the spacers to run tires.
