I was just wondering if 22/11/8 fit on late 70s argo, the tires on it now are 20/11/8, thanks.
UPDATE............ Well, today I got my tires in, swamp fox 22/11/8 and they fit like a charm!! I'm very happy I went with the bigger tire size!

I've looked at the Carlisle 20x10x8 super lug tire As a possible replacement. The 21x11x 8 AT 101 should fit. Measure axle center to body , need at least 11.5" to 12" to clear the 22s

Im not to worried about the body clearance, I read some pretty good ways of reshaping the tub for bigger tires, I was just making sure the tires don't rub each other, I don't think they will but just wanted to be sure. See what I did is ordered the wrong tire size but if I can make the bigger tires work then great! Thanks for the reply!
