Where I will be using my Max IV is flooded ag crops...rice fields.
The water is a foot or less deep with some vegetation mixed in.

The mud is pretty solid gumbo stuff...but there is a chance at hitting some soupy stuff.

The tires on the Max are on backwards for better swimming I have been told.

Since I won't be doing a bunch if any swimming would I benefit from having the tires on the "correct" way?

It doesn't take very much water to float your Max and if it does float at all, you will want the tires facing the direction that you have them. I would leave them that way and if you get into a situation where you get stuck, you should be able to back out. If that happens more than once, try them the other way and see how they work for you.
