Does anyone know what kind of tire changer works good on bead locks? Tired of taking them to the local shop only to come back with bead leaks. Also what works good to seal the bead on older tires? Thanks in advance

What I use is the same type used for go karts. I had a steel shop Roll me a steel band the outside diameter of the wheel (weldid) the I put the wheel in the press with a flat bar across it and pop the bead. Very Easy !!
Also to seal old beads you can try Indian head gasket sealer or a bead sealer sold at tire shops.
Hope this helps you.

Thanks guys for the advice. I found a piece of pvc and doubled it up and used the press to break the bead. I'll go to the harbor freight tire changer as the bigger tires won't fit in the press. The gutter seal works a lot better than the thin bead sealer too.Attached FilesWhat it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.
