homemade track testing question

garrete, i made my tracks the same way with the 11/2 '' wide flatbar for guides. never had any problem with the tire sidewall. just grind the ends smooth and you can even put a slight bend outward at the ends. j.b.

it is very time consuming,I am cheap so I actually used the studs in the track to fasten the steel tire guides,took awhile to remove them.Building the wheel spacers out of pipe,threaded rod and some 4" emt conduit couplings I got for 1$ a piece at a resale store,I will try to get some pics up today.

Ok I just downloaded 10 pictures in the track and tire section,I have no idea how to attach them to this thread.Maybe Mike will do it for me.I have more photos I can put up later.
