Max II best tires?

I want something to swim well, hopefully not outrageously expensive. Don't really want the 101's based on some problems y'all have had with them, but I do really want to be on the lake. So I need swimmers.

What's the best tire that is hopefully larger than a 21", but small enough to fit without extreme mods and changing the 11x8 rims?

I have researched
21x11x8 vendettas ($99/e)
22x11x8 rawhide III's
24x10(will that fit??)x8 Argo tires ($135/e)

Tires is one place I dont want to be stingey on, but I hopefully don't want to have to change out my rims and add spacers and what not.. But I will if the badass;money ratio qualifies.

Yes it will fit perfectly. The 8" diameter rims are all 7" wide I believe.

You know what, I didn't read your initial post properly the 1st time. I didn't realize you had a Max, I thought you had an older Argo. The 24" Argo tire is the largest tire you can stuff onto an Argo that came with 21 or 22" tires. Your max II can take a larger (faster) tires than that, but not on the rims you currently have.

22x11x8 Rawhides are back in production and should be available from a Comercial Goodyear dealer for about $85 each. If your body is sagged any the 24s will probably have clearance issues.

Well even with 4 lbs of air the tires tends to fold under on high speed turns which can cause the machine to flip. Also I had a stick about a half inch thick go through the sidewall.
