  • Amphicat tire solution

We all know Amphicat tires are use and toss, but what if the treads are fine but they have holes in them? You can't remove the tires to patch them? or can you?

My restore project with pictures of my solution to this problem. Most ballon tires are at least 1/2 inch thick, lots of rubber and life.

This may work with Agrocat, attex and earlier models of 6x6 and 8x8 that use balloon tires or maybe some custom ride that you may have.
Watch where that lands, I might need it later.

great job on your repairs, you have brought that machine back from the dead.Maybe your tire idea will work.I tried everything to keep my balloon tires going but I finally had to make adapters and by golf cart rims and at101 tires.

170 Canadian each tire plus rims and adapters, Just can't afford that. and the tires are 1/2 inch thick so plenty of rubber.
