Channel Tracks - Adjusting the Length??

Can you shorten channel tracks? How do they attach together to make a "loop"? I'm wondering if I can shorten some to put on a smaller machine.

Go to the tracks/tires section and you will find a multi page thread on the Chanel tracks that includes tension and using a over lap joint or the Flexco hinges. You can shorten them to fit no problem.
