Has any tried loading there tires, like the tractor people do to increase traction.

The big tractors use chloride in the tires to add weight, for pulling purposes only.
Keep in mind these large tractors move an average of 25mph tops, with a transmission that's the bigger than the cab, and a differiential the size of an excersise ball.
It's only added to make you heavy enough to handle the 50ft inplement and drag a plow 1ft under the ground. So by chloriding the tires you'd gain pulling power on dry ground and sink like a rock in any sort of slop.sigpic

Any tractor that we use for loader work has to have "loaded" tires because the bucket can easily lift enough to get the empty rear tires up into the air. It's scary and only front wheel traction. Have tried big heavy balance weights but they tend to get in the way plowing snow and don't work as well. our local tire loaders call it calcium. Heavier than water or ww juice and won't freeze.
