  • Carlisle AT101-Goodyear Rawhide

I know this has been discussed but can't find the post to put pics in. I cut up a Carlisle AT101 and a Goodyear Rawhide, both 21x11x8 and are the base track tire for MAX. I find the AT101s require 10 psi to keep tracks on in rough ground. The Rawhide will keep tracks on at 6-7 psi. Both are 2 ply in sidewalls even thought the AT101 is 4 ply rated. The Rawhide has about 1/16" more rubber outside the sidewall ply.

Seeing is believing. Thanks for taking the time to do that. Glad I went with the goodyears for the rubber tracks. The ride doesn't matter to me since they're only run in snow. With 6 psi they will ride rough no matter what tire but the heavy sidewall will keep a track on better when you lose air pressure.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

Cannot give any input as far as tracks go but my at101s never stop impressing me.

Interesting comparison though. Maybe ply and or just rubber are the differences.

      Are both made in USA?
