That's a loaded question with all the variables in diameter of individual tires. Rim width will also make a difference.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

im not sure what tire im going with yet but was thinking rawhide 3 tires with either 8 or 9 inch rims. I believe I can fit about 24" tires just not sure. also want to make sure rawhides are good for what I want which is mud and flotation.

The Rawhides are a great tire and work well on the Argo. I'm not sure if 24s will fit that machine, just measure the distance between axle centers and axle to tub to know for sure.

i have 8'' rims on my max and i believe the largest tire that will fit that rim is the 24'' that adair argo sells. any other brand a 22'' is all that's available in my search. good luck, johnboy va.

I personally would not go any bigger than a 22 ( again they vary) as 20's were stock after the balloons ( looks to have 22x10x8 on it now), a 22 rawhide3 on 8 inch wide rims would probably work, that machine appears to be ABS so more traction will mean more axle pin carnage and if it's early enough to have 7/8" or 1" axles probably bent axles. The ABS ( if that is what I am seeing) and the poly bodies of that era had no side wheel well support so you may have to deal with sag, if so the larger the diameter the more chance of rubbing.

A Carlisle stryker is a wide tall tire, the kenda knock offs are tall but narrow, the goodyear tires run pretty true, a 10 inch tire on 7 wide rim, a 11-12 inch tire on 8 or nine inch wide rim.

thank you for the replies has helped me out a lot. they are 22x11x8 (only 4 good one) on there now and I im going to stick with that and get the rawhide 3's. I know it is an older one just not sure exactly what kind. I don't belive it has wheel supports but im going to make my own supports
