maxII tires

Hey guys new to this so bear with me. Im looking for a really good mud and snow tire. How big of a tire can you go with stock maxII with 14hp v twin vanguard, doesnt need to be flotation bc already have them. Need a good set just for mud and snow i want more ground clearence too if possible

Daniel, I have been looking at KENDA GECKO SAND ATV TIRES 18x9x8. I dont think these tires would be good for mud but I bet they would be for snow.

You could go with 22x11x8 Goodyear Rawhide III tires, which come as stock equipment on the Max II, or you could get a set of 22x12.50x8 Super Swamper TSL tires, which would be quite a bit wider and offer much better traction. S.S. TSL /ATVTITLE | Interco Tire

Actually, they aren't a super high price.....right around $69/tire Here's a link:

1. Lee has Mudbugs on his Argo Frontier and they swim

2. MightymaxIV has used Swamp fox plus , Vampires, and also the CARLISLE tires , that are just knock off copies of a Rawhide tire ,with only a slight variation in the tread design.

3. Boncrshr has Vampire TSL,s on his Hustler and they swim.

All these tires are made for ATV,s , but can be used on an amphib. The above mentioned tires swim, but only about 1.5-2 mph in the water.

want to race ????????????????? i doupt it . my max needs no tires of that kind proven fact as seen at busco i can go anywhere anybody el;ese can with stock 26 goodyears proven fact busco this year . robbie

Jon Hoath had the 22" super swampers on his max II, and he would say they wouldn't swim at all. Otherwise a good tire.
