I'm trying to save a couple Firestone Balloon tires and found one with a leaky valve stem at the rim. Very slow leak. Since I'm going to Tireject all my tires, would I be best off relying on the Tireject, or should I replace the valve stem? I already replaced one, and it was no picnic! Thanks, Dan

balloons sure are a nice ride but your days are numbered. i have one machine with them still on.
they are flat spotted but once you get moving not that big of a deal. as long as where they are vulcanized
to the center and not pulling apart they are worth saving. no easy chore to replace the stem but possible.

The integrated wheel tries are very nice. But their age and difficulty of being replaced are their biggest down sides. Since you can't get into the tire to repair it any damage is usually fatal. Including valve stem. Not sure how to replace or repair on one.
Never heard of Tireject before. I have used https://www.amazon.com/High-Lifter-H.../dp/B00QV4U0V8 with great results.
In fact I have the lowest rating on the site, I ranted after they didn't work for me, after paying the outrageous shipping from their main site. You can buy the bottle with shipping for almost the same price as JUST shipping from Highlifters store.

My tires where really trashed 50+ years old and it sealed every hole Just took a few weeks. Been a year no leaks. Just used it on my new (old) Quadractor's tires as well stopped all leaks.
