  • goodyear ATV tires discontinued

Hi Guys, Just to let you know, I was on the phone with R.C. the other day talking about tires and he said Goodyear dropped production of their rawhides. If you want them now is the time. I bought 6 - 22x11x8s from Town Fair Tire @ $65 each, free mounting. R.C.wanted $85 plus shipping. Good Luck Mike Duggan

Goodyear has not stopped production of their Rawhide III's. You can still buy all you want. My understanding is that they have been threatening that for years & it still hasn't happened. If people keep buying them , they'll keep making them. They have raised there prices, but you can still get them.

I hope they plan on replacing it with something. What would RI use on the Max II? Those Argo tires are nice looking but expensive and there have been questions about their durability.

Are those the tires that were on the red max II at CPATVA 07 that almost flipped? Maybe we can convince Goodyear to make a new type of baloon/floatation tire that's more reliable than the old school one.

Yes TechFX. Greg also had to persuade his Max II to accept them with a heat gun. The tires are too tall for the front of the Max II and are probably too big for my trail machine too.

                  Goodyear tire discontinues

Hey Guys, The other day I was on the Tires Unlimited website and was looking at the Goodyear section of the site, they had a memo that Goodyear was discontinuing the atv line of tires. Unless its for military or industry! So if any of you guys like the Rawhides or Runamuck better stock up, cause the memo said once there gone there gone!

                      Goodyear Tires discontinues

Can't say what will happen cause I was considering a set of RawhideIII's for the Thunderchief and was just looking around! You can check out Tires Unlimiteds website to see if I was reading it right, but I read it a couple of times to make sure! 1a.m. things aren,t always clear.

Actually they would probably work good on a yard utility 6x6.

I was Google-ing around and found this wisconsin argo dealer. The page is for a used frontier sale, but it also says he has a surplus of rawhideIII takeoffs from avengers. He refits them with frontier tires for tracks. So they are probably 25.x11.5x9 rawhides.
