  • Max IV track info

I am looking to put composite tracks on my 08 Max IV. It came with 26" tires so I know I have to replace them with 21" . I also know I will need the 5" wheel extensions and of course the tracks themselves. Do I need anything else ? The machine will be used in the marsh in south Louisiana.

If you like your axles (read as bank account), you will want bearing extensions...and preferably the bar that ties them together.

You will DEFINITELY need the support bar and bearing extensions if you use it often in the marsh.

I've made my own bearing extensions in the past, or you could contact Adair Argo for their synthetic extensions.

https://adairargosales.com/ Check out their tracks too!

Here is a picture of the bar that ties them together

I believe factory extensions are available from Muddox.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

I just finished having mine made. The extensions came with the tracks, when I purchased them, the tie together bar I had made.

How much did it cost for you to have the tie bars made ?
