Good question, Attex uses 18" tires to run tracks on second and third gen machines, I think they ran the old thin rubber tracks on first gens like everyone else as that was what was available back then.
The one advantage to your possibility is no side muffler on the 208, however, personally I would not even try to put a plastic track on a balloon tire as you are just asking for destruction of a hard to get 40 year old tire.
A set of 3 to 5 adapters and some 18" tires may be the way to go.sigpic
