Make sure to post pictures of you your Avenger with the new tires. We don't often see Argo's with aftermarket tires.

I haven't received them yet. I live about 1200 miles from the US border so I had them shipped to my folks place (about 100 miles from teh border). I am meeting my brothers in two weeks to go elk hunting. They are bringing the tires with them.

I can't wait to try them out in the Peace River (alberta Canada) terrain. Lots of bog and mud. I will take lots of pictures and video and post them.

              Keep us posted

Keep us posted on the tires and your trip. I'm interested to see if you can tell any difference with the performance of the Avenger. We like pictures and videos. Good hunting.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

                  Kovac ,

The 9x10 rims that Matt sells are $50 a pop. I,ll be ordering six of them soon.

                    Hey guys,

I got back from my hunting trip where I picked up the vampires. The ground was frozen solid as it got down to -25 a few nights and there was about 10 inches of snow on the ground.

In any case, here is a comparison between the raawhides and the vampires. Actually, there is no comparison. the vamps ride better, they grab way better on the dirt/snow. I now have had 5 torn sidewalls on the rawhides (all with moose in the machine...hmmmm). I put the vamps on and, voila! problem solved. They are awesome tires for sure. Climbing logs, ditches, mowing over willow, etc. never missed a beat.

I don't have my hunting pictures yet but here are a couple while it was in the shop.

Looks great! Very mean looking machine with 8 Vamps on there!

Thanks for the report...and I am glad the Vampires lived up to my bragging. But in all honesty, the new Vamps took the Hustler to the next level for me. I never really worry about getting stuck or not being able to climb something...I just take it for granted they will do what I ask of them.....

                          BTW, congratulations on the Moose....

Here is a short video of the vampires pulling an entire moose over a logpile.

                            Those tire sure do grip!

                                DerekF ,

I watched that video on Utube. It was REALLY impressive pulling a 900 pd moose over a log that size! The Vampire tires on your Argo 8x8 sure do the job, don,t they?
